Mental Health - Overcoming Anxiety without Drugs

Do you ever experience periods of anxiety? Do your clients? If so, then this webinar is designed for you.

Anxiety disorders are very common in Great Britain, with 1 in 6 adults having experienced some form of ‘neurotic health problem’ in the previous week, according to one organisation dedicated to the subject. However, the numbers may be considerably higher than are reported to doctors. Anxiety not only reduces quality of life but it also contributes to a range of health conditions, which in themselves may exacerbate anxiety.

Of the five major causes of anxiety, Antony will focus on the biochemical imbalances which are considered more prevalent than is appreciated by conventional medicine, and almost certainly play a role in the other causes of anxiety. Antony will discuss the well documented associated of inappropriate low grade inflammation and anxiety and how to resolve or manage this with nutritional means. In addition, he will identify the most common hormonal and neurotransmitter imbalances alongside the developing role of the gut microbiome in fuelling anxiety. Antony will present clinical suggestions on how to resolve these most common biochemical imbalances and reduce anxiety whilst sharing some successful case history examples.

During this presentation you will learn:

  • About the incidence of anxiety disorders.
  • About the 5 major contributory factors to anxiety.
  • About the role of inflammation and anxiety.
  • About hormonal imbalances lead to anxiety.
  • About specific neurotransmitter imbalances lead directly to feeling anxious.
  • About the gut microbiome is integral to the stability of one’s emotional state.
  • About specific strains of human bacteria that can influence mood.
  • About targeted nutritional supplements that can effectively address anxiety.
  • About nutritional therapy can have a significant role to play in reducing and potentially resolving anxiety.
