Super Nutrition for the Over 50's Webinar

There is an ever-increasing awareness of the importance of nutrition in the aging process, and this often presents itself in the form of concern in middle age. Antony will provide you with the most relevant and important aspects of nutrition on which to focus for the over 50’s age-group and explain why. He will discuss the importance of optimising macro-nutrient intake, ensuring sufficient protein is consumed and avoiding high carbohydrate intake which may accelerate the aging processes. Antony will highlight certain micro-nutrients for which there may be higher needs in your fifties compared to your twenties or thirties.

Antony will introduce you to the “triage-theory” as presented by one of the world’s most published scientists Dr Bruce Ames.

  1. Learn how nutritional intake represents one of the single most important aspects of life involved in the aging process.
  2. Learn how to support hormonal balance with appropriate nutrition.
  3. Learn how to support a healthy body composition with targeted nutrition.
  4. Learn how much protein is needed in middle age.
  5. Learn about key nutrients required in higher amounts from middle age onwards.
  6. Learn about the relevance of digestive function in the fifth decade and beyond.
  7. Gain confidence supporting your clients in their fifties and over with empirically and scientifically-backed up information which can be individualised.
