Macrominerals are vitally important in a range of metabolic functions in our bodies. Calcium and Magnesium are both macrominerals. Whilst low or poor intake effects everyone, greater significance is seen in older people and women who are post-menopausal. Young children and adolescent girls also need more, due to their need for healthy skeletal growth.
99% of the body’s supply of calcium can be bones and teeth, the rest is found in interstitial fluids, muscles, and blood. With regards to magnesium 60-65% is found in bone, 27% is intramuscular, and 7% is found in other cell types and bodily fluids.
An important antioxidant ascorbate, Vitamin C supports a wide range of essential metabolic reactions. Protecting the body against oxidative stress, Vitamin C detoxes supports the immune system.
The C/Cal/Mag Powder supplies 400 mg of elemental calcium, 200 mg of elemental magnesium, and 180 mg of vitamin C per serving. This adaptable powder is easy to give to kids, teenagers, and the elderly by adding it to juices or water.
Directions for use
Two (2) teaspoons of C/Cal/Mag™ mixed with six (6) to eight (8) ounces of water or other beverage as a food supplement. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Not to be used as a substitute for a varied diet.
