Bioctasol Forte x 90 Tablets

DESCRIPTION

Bioctasol Forte® supplies 6,000 mcg of octacosanol (from rice) per tablet along with the antioxidant enzymes SOD and catalase.

Octacosanol is a long-chain aliphatic alcohol, found abundantly in rice bran oil and in many other plants, presents a variety of important biological activities, including antioxidant and ergogenic properties and anti-Parkinsonism. Octacosanol is the main component of policosanol.

Animal studies show that octacosanol possesses anti-nociceptive (i.e.. counters pain nerve stimulus) and anti-inflammatory activities, which could be of relevance for the control of pain and inflammatory processes, particularly related to the nervous system.

In other animal studies, octacosanol reduced disrupted hepatic reactive oxygen species metabolism associated with acute liver injury.

WHY USE BIOCTASOL FORTE?

Octacosanol may contribute to increased oxygen use during exercise. It may also aid in improving glycogen storage in the muscles, and increasing both stamina and endurance.

Octacosanol may be supportive in those with chronic inflammatory neurological conditions.

Octacosanol may be supportive in inflammatory liver conditions.
