Campsiandra bark extract from the Campsiandra angustifolia tree, which belongs to the legume family and is native to Peru and northern Brazil. It has been used there by the locals for many generations, both as a source of food and for health support. Its bark contains many valuable ingredients, including proanthocyanidins, flavonoids, gallotannins and caffeoylquinic acid.
Cumanda is an effective anti-microbial remedy and is often used alongside Samento to support those with Lyme Borreliosis with co-infections. Cumanda also possesses antifungal properties which may support those with Candida krusei, Candida albicans and Aspergillus niger, for example.
