Mould Toxicity Webinar

Mould toxicity is due to the mycotoxins produced by mould, with different species of mould producing different mycotoxins such as Ochratoxin A. Although the most common cause of mould toxicity is water damaged buildings, it is more common than you might think and it could be in your home or that of your client. Wherever and whenever mould grows, mycotoxins may be airborne and inhaled by anyone in the vicinity.

Mould toxicity for those sensitive to mycotoxins is a serious thing and can be responsible for autoimmune diseases like Hashimoto’s and Sjogren’s, brain and hormone dysregulation, endocrine disruption, mood issues, gut issues, fatigue, insomnia, interstitial cystitis, migraines and more. Studies now indicate that exposure to mould may be a major contributor to some people’s dementia and Alzheimer’s disease.

However, we are still at the very beginning of what we know about the complex issues that mycotoxins from mould cause to humans. Studies are being published and awareness is filtering down to healthcare practitioners. However, it is unlikely that the subject is being taught in conventional or complementary medicine colleges.

In this webinar Antony will share with you the names of the most common moulds and the mycotoxins they produce and what conditions they have been associated with causing. He will identify how you can protect yourself and what nutritional measures can be taken to address these mycotoxins, if present.
